What does anaphylaxis look like?

The child reported:

"My tongue is itchy and my feet are itchy".

What we observed:

Mildly flushed and swollen face, swollen lips, bloodshot eyes, redness on her torso, glazed look in the eyes.

Aside from short answers to our questions, the normally talkative child was no longer chatty.

How fast it happened:

Symptoms started 5 minutes after exposure to the allergen.

5 minutes after symptoms appeared, breathing and blood pressure were affected.
